Thanksgiving

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, its true. 2 posts on one day. Well, if we're lucky I'll have enough wit to pour through my fingers to get us into Friday. Hahaha, Black Frisay - what a crazy day. Are there crazy people everywhere that will wake up in like 4 hrs to go stand in line at freakin Wal-Mart so that they can be the first ones in...or is that just in Texas? It ALMOST makes me want to go down there and film all the people there. I must admit, I have a very poor stereotype of typical big hair fat Texan women that are there waiting...but you know what? I would bet you $1000 that I'm right. I guarantee you that if I were to show up at 4am at the local Wal-Mart here in Houston the majority of people waiting would be women wearing sweatshirts with sparkly glittery things on them with large hairsprayed heads of hair - and people, they would KILL you to get that gift. Detroit is dangerous? Hell, just try getting in the way of a Texan mom trying to get her son the new PS3. THATS danger!

Anyway, rather than talk crap about people that I think are funny, I think its probably more important today that we look at the things that we are thankful for. Do we even know what Thanksgiving is anymore? I swear that one of the first things that pops into my head in the Brady Bunch episode where they reenact the Indians and the Pilgrims meeting. Remember? Yes you do! SHUT UP! However it started, I think its interesting how we see it today. Gathering of friends and family to eat...and watch Football. By the way, my COWBOYS are 10-1! Ummm, yeah! HOW BOUT' THEM COWBOYS???!!!! Ok, sorry...had to get that out. I am sick today. I came down with a pretty nasty cold 2 days ago and I seriously hope that today was the worst and that it will only get better from here. So, while I was here, I wasnt really here. I did get to see my baby step-niece. - she is the cutest little girl! She just learned to walk. Isnt it crazy that one day you cant walk, and then all of a sudden you figure it out? Crazy, right?

I got to see my Granma and Grandad that live here in Houston and got to talk briefly with my Grandad that lives in Midland. He is currently in the hospital and isnt doing all that well, so, I was very thankful to get to speak with him. Anyway, whatever...you all dont care who of my family I saw - its just important that I got to see pretty much everyone! So, it was a good day overall.

Tomorrow I am headed over to my oldest friend's house to meet his newborn son. I cant believe that he is a Dad! Duuuuude~! Ok, I think that I'm finally running out of steam.

I hope that everyone had a wonderful day of greets and eats.
