I think I might be CRAZY

Its been too long since my last post, and I apologize. I have been incredibly involved over the past few weeks. I truly wish that I could post pictures from the lovely trip that my wife and I made to Napa Valley, CA. We had a fantastic stay at the Silverado Resort and it was a pleasure getting private tours of such amazing wineries as TWOMEY and the Napa Valley Wine Company. I see why people like to drink wine and I DEFINITELY see why people like to live in California! Truly gorgeous. But, yeah...I cant post pictures because I forgot the cord that connects my camera to my computer. So, just close your eyes and imagine. :O)

After 5 wonderful days on the left coast I took a redeye from San Fran to New York's JFK airport. DRAMA! It was a full flight and I was placed snuggly in my 38G seat. At least I had the aisle!! THANK YOU GOD!! So...other than a bit unwanted bumpiness throughout the flight, the redeye itself wasnt a problem. We landed at JFK at probably 6:30am (eastern time). Mind you, its only a 5 hr flight. ....I probably really slept only for an hr or so. Ok, down to baggage claim, found my stuff, and off to a taxi. Grabbed a cab, headed to my apt and all was to be well. I arrived to the upper west side at about 7:40am and had just enough time to crash, take a shower, and then be at my rehearsal at New York City Opera at 11am. What would have been the worst thing that could have happened? Yes. The key to the apartment wasnt there. The last person to stay at the apartment was supposed to leave the key with the doorman, but alas, this time had not. I was lost. Sometimes God puts people into your life for a reason...and a number of times Galen and Barbara have been those angels for me. I truly love these people. They were able to get me a hotel room for the night and overnight me their keys. I seriously do not know what I would do without them.
I barely had time to take a shower and then show up to rehearsal on time. WHEW!

I'm glad to say that I'm happily in the apartment and have been now for almost a week and have once again found my love for NYC.
